Via con Locina
Locina is the Italian name for Lotje. ’Via con Locina’ thus means ‘Away with Lotje’
I've been living a few years in Italy and nowadays, as cultural guide i accompany Dutch travellers in Puglia, South Italy. I am a professional historical and cultural guide to Italian travellers in the Netherlands. I am profoundly rooted in my own small country; i know how to take the traveller beyond the red light district in Amsterdam or Zaanse Schans. As i know it takes patience and endurance to learn willingly about another culture, i very much appreciate the visitors who are interested in my country and background. I provide guided tours in the Netherlands by foot and by bike. It is important to take time in visiting other places. Going in and out of a tourbus with 5 minutes photo-stops is not my cup of tea. In my guided tours I take people to historical places and tell them how history is acqainted with modern culture. Of course it is a point of view, but I try to stimulate cultural exchange. There is much time and attention for historical and cultural practices.
