The Ultimate Alberta Outdoor Adventure

Enjoy exciting outdoor adventures such as whitewater rafting, mountain biking, day hiking and horseback riding with our professional and knowledgeable guides. Half-day, full-day, multi-day and combination tours are available as well as corporate day adventures, team building, whitewater guide training, swiftwater rescue certification courses and wilderness first aid programs. In the winter we offer snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Snowshoeing is a healthy winter adventure, invigorating and fun way to explore the outdoors.

Ecotourism Policy and Practices:

Inside Out Experience is an environmentally sound company which uses the local communities for services and goods as well as combining unique packages for our clients that also provides a “one stop shopping” experience. We also spend a lot of time working on our learning programs to share the human history, geography, geology, flora and fauna of the areas we operate our tours in. In April and May we run 15 days of training for our Staff. This includes a raft guide school, wilderness first aid, swift water rescue and a weekend retreat where we go through risk management, customer service, the company staff manual and interpretive training with local experts. Our Training Programs such as Wilderness First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, Team Building, Raft Guide School and Survival Programs are used by many other Adventure Companies. Our Staff come from all over Canada to work with Inside Out Experience.

We are proud of our sustainable environmental practices and interpretive programs. By getting staff to buy into our ethos we have been able to deliver an outstanding program. Many Corporations are going into the Outdoors for their Staff programs which provides them with a FUN experience and Rewarding in that the learning gained through the program is transferred back to the workplace

Andrew Pratt, the owner of Inside Out Experience, has a degree in Outdoor Pursuits (BPE) from the University of Calgary. He also taught at schools in Australia and Canada and lectured at Mount Royal University in Eco Adventure Tourism. Andrew is the President of the Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta (PROAOA), on the board for the Lower Kananaskis River Users Association (LKRUA) and on the executive of the board for Travel Alberta Calgary Tourism Destination Region (TDR).
Andrew is also a Canadian Red Cross Wilderness Firs Aid Instructor, Instructor Trainer and a co-author of the Wilderness First Aid Manual (2008). He also is a Swift Water Rescue Instructor with the Lifesaving Society and was awarded the Commonwealth Service Medal by the Alberta Lieutenant Governor in 2010.
