Walking tour in historical Santiago

This excursion will take you on the Metro (underground) to Santiago’s main square (Plaza de Armas), where you will travel back in time to the 1500s, when the city was founded. (Half-day tour, approximately 4.5 hours)

A visit to the Cathedral will shed light Chile’s early history and the founders of the Republic once the country attained its independence from the Spanish Crown.

Stop for a cup of coffee or juice before you go on to the National History Museum, which will provide a unique chance to see items, clothing and art from different periods of the country’s history.

When you think you’ve seen it all, you will revel in the collection of the Pre-Columbian Art Museum, that houses one of the largest exhibits of indigenous artifacts of the Americas.

You'll have lots to talk about on the Metro ride back to your hotel!
