I am a Dutch girl with a background in history and cultural studies. I've been living abroad for several years, in Brazil and Italy. Cultural differences have my interest. Professionally I started as a history teacher at secondary school. I am very attached to my own cultural heritage but i really like the exchange with foreign people. The exchange between the Netherlands and Italy is most profound for me professionally as i specialised in Ancient Cultures and studies history in Italy for two years. As a cultural guide nowadays i accompany Dutch travellers in Puglia, South Italy. We visit the cultural highlights and I teach the Dutch people about Italian history. I am a historical and cultural guide to Italian travellers in the Netherlands. I am also profoundly rooted in my own small country. As i know it takes patience and endurance to learn willingly about another culture, i very much appreciate the visitors who are interested in my country and background.
